Born in Plymouth in 1971 Keith became aware of his artistic talent at an
early age.
Throughout his school and college education he developed a keen interest
in art and whilst attending Plymouth
College Public School, studied art to A level standard. Keith pursued his
studies further by moving to
Manchester in 1989, culminating in a degree with honours in 1992 at Manchester
Metropolitan University.
Keith prefers to produce his distinctive artwork on a large scale in order
to achieve the maximum impact
with each piece. Keith specialises in abstract paintings using either oil
or acrylic on canvas and also pastels
applied with fingers in order to create a unique texture. Keith likes to
paint original images inspired by his
extensive travelling around the world in an effort to provide unique paintings
which can not be
obtained elsewhere. His aim is to produce highly colourful and highly communicative
and engaging images
which will make an immediate and lasting impression on the viewer.

"
I want people to be able to enjoy an original piece of art either in their
home to complement the existing
interior design or in commercial work premises. I like my artwork to do the
talking and feel quite happy
to hide behind the canvas. I therefore deliberately set out to provide pictures
with strong bold colour, but with
striking images which provide an unmissable statement for the viewer. I want
people to love my work
because the colours generate a feel good factor and enhance the viewer`s
mood and which will make
all my efforts worthwhile."
